Welcome to Harrison Elementary School!

Our school serves Pre-K through 5th grade students in beautiful Harrison, TN, just outside of Chattanooga. When you walk through the doors of Harrison Elementary, you can feel our collective commitment to engage and inspire the GENIUS within EVERY student. At Harrison Elementary, everyone—staff, students, and community members–is a leader and a learner. We are “One Community. One Pride.” 

As the Principal of Harrison Elementary, I believe that every child deserves a champion, someone willing to go above and beyond to help them succeed in every part of their life. It is our collective goal to help every student show measurable growth in their ability to read, write, and think while ensuring that all students feel a sense of belonging through healthy connections to each other, their teachers, and their community. I am proud to lead this charge on a daily basis!

Harrison Elementary is on the move! With a state-of-the-art building (opening its doors for learning in January 2021), a Chromebook available to every student, an eLab with equipment ranging from 3D printers to laser cutters, and a library with over 11,000 books, it’s no surprise that our students earned the State of Tennessee’s STEM Designation and more recently the Governor’s Civics Seal. We are so excited to watch our students achieve more and more every year.
